Welcome to Android Developer Singapore!

Motorola and Nanyang Technological University - School of Computer Engineering had initiated the creation of an Android Developer Eco-system among the tertiary institutions in Singapore. This initiative is to challenge the Mobile Applications developers in Singapore to create best in class compelling applications for the latest Android based mobile devices for use around the World. This initiative is funded by Motorola Foundation and supported by the Singapore IT Federation (SiTF), Mobile Alliance Singapore and Spring Singapore.

This site is dedicated to provide young developers with the opportunity to develop innovative applications and content using the Android platform. It contains all the information you need to start building an Android application, and to even submit it for a competition if you think it is worthy of it.

What is Android?

Android™ is a flexible software platform designed to deliver a personalized and customizable user experience on mobile devices. Compared to many existing platforms, Android is truly open to continued innovation and new experiences.
